| Keeping it Honest: Understanding Real Estate and Mortgage Fraud |
Along with the recent increase in identity theft and numerous high profile business scandals, real estate fraud has become a major industry issue. Real estate is no stranger to the white collar criminal. Many will use real estate as a vehicle to steal the life savings out of unsuspecting home owners and defraud lenders out of millions of dollars for their own gain. This course will identify several types of real estate fraud schemes, both minor and major, and how you as a real estate professional can protect and educate your clients on this growing problem.

| Short Sale and Foreclosure Risk Management |
The number of short sales and foreclosures is on the rise; because these types of transactions are likely to make up a larger percentage of the real estate opportunities in the coming years, it is important that licensees have a good understanding of the risks inherent in these types of situations and transactions. By becoming more familiar with the potential pitfalls and problems which can and do occur in these transactions licensees can develop strategies to reduce risks for both clients and real estate professionals. Course participants will enjoy the expertise of industry veterans who have many years of experience with these potentially challenging transactions.
